We are a church established in Portland, Maine, and in Washington State. We believe that God has sent us here, to the United States of America, to fulfill the Great Commission: to go into the world and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus calls upon us, His disciples, to proclaim "repentance for the forgiveness of sins" to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem, and charges us to be personal witnesses of His life, death, and resurrection.

Many people have turned away from faith due to the language barrier. This often complicates the sharing or exploration of faith, as spiritual concepts and sacred texts can lose their nuance during translation. However, an authentic connection—rooted in active listening and an open attitude—makes it possible to bridge cultural and theological divides, allowing the very essence of belief and shared humanity to shine through.
